GSG MCOP 2025 : Step into the Shoes of Global Climate Leaders!

The Global Schools Group Mock Conference of the Parties (MCOP) is your chance to dive into the heart of international climate negotiations. Just like the real UN Climate Summit (COP), this exciting simulation puts students in the role of world leaders, country delegates, UN bodies, and global organisations — tackling some of the most urgent climate issues of our time.

With recent UNFCCC COPs (like COP28 & COP29) spotlighting youth through dedicated pavilions and platforms, it’s clear: the world wants to hear from young people. GSG MCOP is a stage to speak up, debate, collaborate, and influence climate action — just like real changemakers.

Hosted by Global Schools Group, this unique event is open to students aged 13–18. Whether you’re passionate about the planet, love debate, or want to explore global climate policy-making, MCOP is where your climate leadership journey begins.

By participating in GSG MCOP, students will:

MCOP 2025 Theme:
Adapt. Value. Restore. Repeat.

Adapt to change, restore what matters, value every voice.

This year’s theme invites us to tackle climate challenges with agility and purpose—by protecting what matters most, from our planet to our people, and making sure every voice is heard. It’s about taking bold action together, learning along the way, and repeating our efforts until we create real, lasting change.

This year, MCOP proudly supports the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, aligning our theme with the global call to heal our planet by restoring nature, empowering communities, and taking action that lasts.
